I thought I was getting ahead in Joannes Quilt Along, after making 5 of the alternate blocks today .... and more ready to sew.
Then - oh goodness - there is another block up to get done.
However ... I am really enjoying this.
The challenge is great - thank you Joannel

Last night I re-commenced my FMQ - after unpicking what I had first done -  this time on the straight lines.
As you can see I used my quilt Halo...I dont always.
I dont use the BSR either...I am trying to control my stitches myself.
Not easy.

Back to see how to do the next blockin the QA

Have fun with your FMQ. I haven't seen the quilt halo before.
Practice makes perfect!

Your challenge blocks are stunning! Those alternate blocks with the dark compliment the others so well. Oh my, your machine quilting skills simply amaze me...each project is so intricate...dazzling! You are such a clever lady!

Thank you for your lovely comments on my blog Joan! Your's is far more beautiful! LOL! I love your quilts on here, and your quilting!

When I'm using my Berninas, I also use the halo! They give near perfect control. If you are having trouble with one, try two, one stacked on top. The rubber around them keeps them together, and I find the added height helps my hands and the extra weight improves my control.

I love the BSR! When I teach machine quilting, those with the BSR start out 90% ahead of everyone else! Cindye
