Some small thing achieved and how I have done it.
Marking the template - no thread and no bobbin.
Pouncing the design onto the fabric
Final result.
I don't think I will go over it with the white wash-away pen ...I will quilt it direct, and only put the design on as I complete each quilted section.
Maybe later.
One Flower Wednesday tomorrow ... comes around fast.
Just looking at the date today - June 1st. My DH and I got engaged 51 years ago today - Near the end of the Month - we celebrate our Golden Anniversary...
50 years - my goodness!!

It looks great pounced, but will look even better quilted. 50 years, a wonderful milestone! Congratulations!
You do such impressive work. I have always wanted to try the pounce pad for marking. 50 years sounsd so long, but I bet it flew by. Congratulations.
Your quilting is amazing! I'm dazzled watching the process! Wow, 50 years! Ah, you must have been about two when you got engaged...right?!!! ;-)))

I am so impressed by your quilting skills!!! Wonderful to see how you do it. I have never heard of pouncing.
And wow, 50 year wedding celebration. Gefeliciteerd!
Congratulations! For a second I thought 50 sounded like a lot, then I realized that my parents are past 42. Keep up the good work.
In this day and age 50 years is an achievement all in itself. Congratulations!
Now about those feathers.....WOW! I love them. I want to...need to learn how to design feathers like that
Well done!
That pouncing seems to work really well, I'll have to give it a try.
Congratulations on 50 years!!
Fifty years Joan...any secrets to your success? Congratulations, and many many more! I used the pounce method on a border a few years ago, and was very happy. I used a pre cut stencil- a simple design, and the machine with a walking foot.
PS: Andrea is a delight- I am looking forward to more of her story!
Uhh! Such beauty my friend. Stunning. I think I just get lost in your work.
Now onto the CONGRATULATIONS. 50 years? You don't seem old enough to be married nearly so long. You must have been but a wee babe when y'all met. You are blessed. I'm in awe of you more and more all the time.
If you are concerned with the chalk rubbing off before you quilt it, (if you had a large quilt and moved it around a lot) take Press and Seal and lay it over top of your chalked areas, then peel it off in sections as you quilt it.
Contrats on the 50 years.
Congratulations on 50 years !
I`m enthusiastic about your quilting ,Joan , terrific
Rena
Thanks Joan. I've been wondering how you do your own stencils.
Joan, congratulations on 50 years!!! What's the secret to your success?
