Here is my One Flower Wednesday for May 26th
Two are made from the beautiful pieces I recieved from Sandy , including the lovely fussy cut piece, and one from mine. I have decided to surrond them with the plain cream fabric, so may do some of the surronds next week
My count today is now 23 Thanks to Sandy's gift also.
I think I may need to scatter some more dark ones in there?
Now - sewing my POTC's again.

Very pretty! I like the way you show them separate and then all together. I will have to put all mine together at the end, because it really does show how they are adding up over these weeks. Nice fabrics!
Your garden is growing nicely. What fun to see all the different beautiful fabrics. Makes me think of using some of my scraps to start doing one a week also. It's the least I can do, instead of obsessing solely on DJ, which I have been doing for the past two or three weeks.

I remember an old family heirloom quilt made by my great grandmother that used that pattern. Watching you build yours makes me envision her building hers. Thank you.
It's rumored that my mother has that quilt but that it's almost ruined. I plan on stealing it from her and trying to salvage something, even for a picture frame.

It is coming along nicely. Sometimes I think these slow projects turn out the most beautiful. They have a contemplative feeling even after they are finished.

Beautiful colours, you have for your flower garden! Some darker ones could be great, but is not necessary. And the cream fabrics brings it out!
