Having problems with tension for the silk thread on top...can only actually see what I am doing if I use a distinctive thread...so I may now change to a mustard cotton thread and have another go today. ...on the real one!

It all looks great! Is it FMQ?
I would imagine it would be difficult to get silk thread to play properly, what weight thread were you using? I have only used 100 wt for hand applique and that stuff is almost invisble!!

Hey Joan, where did you get your silk thread. That is what Wendy @ Ivory Spring told me she uses.
The contrasting thread is pretty. I like the effect.
