At last I have done some sewing today. i have finished my doodle sample for SewCalGal's FMQ Challenge June 2012 (Cindy Needham)- as far as I can for now - I may make this a wall hanging...but I am not sure what to bind it with..
I also made a move...which I hope to get up here...Have tried several times before, bu not been very successful.
I have used my Fine Line Ruler by
for all my border lines.... and made a quick movie of it,
This is what I used to get my lines..
Well it worked - Hope you enjoy - a few mistakes in the video - but it took me
SOOOOO long !!
Thats the last photo of these now... I think thats probably more thatn enough.

.
Hoping to catch up with some of my Four Corner Squilters buddies..

Your quilting is amazing... I still can't believe you do it all on your domestic machine. How do you use a ruler with your machine? Not sure I've seen anyone do that before.
Look at you go Joan! Not only the quilting, and the blogging ~ but VIDEO ! Such an inspiration :) Thanks Joan for sharing
Godspeed Mary
WOW I love the border
Wow, this is sooooo great :-)
Oh my gosh Joan, that is one fabulous piece, I'd love to find some time to play like that. The video was great, well done and thanks for sharing it.
JOan, fabulous work as always! I have the Fine Line Rulers and couldn't get the hang of them. Your video was very helpful-thank you!
Joan, this is great! I didn't know about the Fine Line rulers...thank you for showing how to use them! What an inspiration you are!
Amazing as usual! I love the straight line quilting - and then to find you did it with a ruler - even more wonderful! I have one of the rulers but I need to practice a lot more with it as between trying to keep it steady and move the quilt along, all I managed to do was break a couple of needles! After seeing your video I'm off to give it another try! Have you considered doing a facing rather than the typical binding on your piece? That way there would be no distraction from the gorgeous quilting.
Your quilting is so beautiful Joan and the video is great - well done!
