Playing a little with my FMQ  samples.

I found some of my Fabrico fabric pens, which I got some time ago and was wondering what would happen if I 'painted' on the fabric design with it...not quite sure how to fix it - or even if it will.
I will check it out on the net as I have forgotten what to do.  The colour was a bit dark - and I need to find out how to get it lighter.
I feel I am meant to heat set it, and may hang it by the fire for a while.. if that doesn't work and I am not occupied with Andrea's Migraines (which are bad at present- hence me playing only).. I may iron it and wash it - and just see what happens.
Not much planned now - except sleep tonight.

and I do hope that Andrea's migraines disappear soon - no fun for sure, poor kid!

Wow, doesn't that give your quilting a whole new look?! I don;t wish to pry, but is Andrea seeing a doctor about her migraines? I think she's probably around the age I was when I first started getting them, although I didn't get them so frequently. Mine have varied enormously in frequency over the years, but got significantly worse after Eleanor was born, and eventually I went back to the doctor. (They'd been so rare for a while, only a handful in 6 or 7 years, that I wasn't doing anything about them.) I went onto a preventer which almost immediately dropped the frequency from weekly or more to only 2 in the 9 months I've been taking them, plus I have some treatment tablets for the odd occasion I do get one, which atually work. Of course, maybe you're already doing all this, but just in case...

Big hugs to Andrea!! We're pulling the winner from the writing contest this weekend.

I've been thinking of fabric painting, too. I used to do it years ago. Just picked up a book to help me remember.

It is very very beautiful Joan. That's sometihng I've really been wanting to try also, but I know my first efforts won't turn out anywhere near as pretty as yours did!
