Finished this peice for now.

I included the measure and the pen to show how small a piece it really is.
The top is sewn with silk.
It jut fits into a plastic sleeve and is in a folder now... though I really like it now, and am wonderfig what to do with it...Maybe I should bind it..or something.

Here is the back - .. I am even happy with that!
First time I think I got the tension right.
The bobbin had Aurofil 50 wt cotton.

I came accross - while trying to tidy up my VERY messy studio - the information about the Fabrico pens :)
Told me it didnt require heat setting :)
Could have missed that test bit after all!

Great Job Joan! So....... are you really working on that "messy workroom" or just working on more ?? LOL Have a great day tomorrow. Hugs Sharm (who hopes to get more done of the baby quilt tomorrow)

I like the variety of backgrounds you used. I've tried the circles and I find I don't have the patience for them at the size I was working. I see you made all different sizes of them. Maybe I'll try that. Very nice McTavishing, too!

Such a pretty piece Joan! I had to laugh, reading instructions AFTER doing the ironing is exactly how my hubby handles anything new LOL.

Joan! Wonderful....you could "bind" it, but it looks to be 8x10- you could frame it! Sandy

Absolutely beautiful. By all means bind it or frame it so it can be on display!

gorgeous! all your fillers are so small and perfect - I think framing it and getting it out on display is in order!

Exquisite! Reminds me of an elaborate wedding cake! Skip organizing the "messy" workroom...you'll never find a thing! How's that for permission to quilt? ;-)

Joan,
This is fabulous.... of course you should bind it. This beautiful piece should not be left in the binder where no one gets to walk by to admire it!!!
