Last design for the small quilt.

While hoping very much for a school day tomorrow -  in my spare time  that dratted pencil flew into my hand again :)
Now I need to sew over the design with only  the sewing needle ...no thread..and then use the white pounce pad to put it on the quilt..tomorrow!
Thought as it was a practice quilt - I would try for something that hopefully looks a bit ..Victorian ? ...the spaces filled with the feathers.

I wondered if it was possible to stitch through a drawn design and then use the pounce pad. What size needle do you use? I have problems getting markings on dark fabric with any of the pens or chalk pencils I have tried.

Beautiful feathers. I'm going to have to try your method of sewing then pouncing. What is used in your pouncer? I imagine white chalk for darker fabrics but what do you use for white fabrics?

Beautiful quilt design Joan :) and thank you for the tutorial on the marking... great idea!! Your quilting turned out great! Also loved your little design with the Fabrico pens!!
So sorry Andrea is having such a bad time with her migraines though. Poor lass. I hope they will ease up soon and the docs find out what is causing them.... hugs Ellyx
