Some thread and more FMQ pracitse

These beautiful silk threads came in the post on Tuesday

Using a variety of thread ...practising for my small sample quilt.
Not sure which thread to use - all suggestions welcome.

Some more samples.  I need to be brave now and 'bite the bullet' to get my small quilt done
Still trying to work out what to do...what to do...what to do....

Have set up my lap top so I can see it from my sewing machine...I can watch the DVD, pause it...and practise what I see...its working a treat!
My new sewing table is working well.

I have a free day - so I am sewing!!  WooHoo!

Your FMQ is stunning!!! It gives me lots of ideas, lots of "what-ifs".

Your threads are pretty, too. All nice and shiny. Makes a person want to play with them. LOL!

I just ordered some basic black, white and green, and am impatient for them to arrive.

Beautiful threads!! I like the top left or the bottom right threads for that fabric....maybe the top left one the most :0)

Oh Joan I wish I could provide some input other than words that lavish upon you simple praise! But I can't. These pieces are so pretty and the thread is divine! I love the orange on the white. Of course I would since I find orange one of my most favorite of colors.

How delightful to have the day to sew. Very happy for YOU! (and us onlookers)

Joan,

You need to jump right into the quilting - your practice samples is looking really good!

Your quilting is superb, I've just drooled all over the keyboard. It makes me want to practice.
