The next two blocks of Joanne's Quilt Along are done.

They are far from perfect.
These are challenging me heaps as I have not done this sort of thing for ages....years??
As you can see by the block below - the QST squares - they are just not right...I had to cut them down heaps to get the size.

Off to do some more of the blue blocks..which I am not enjoying either!
Or maybe some Machine Quilting  ..Mmmmm !

My Ladybug Zentangle

and a Zentangle card!

Thats it from me today!

Love the Zentagles!
I am sorry you are not enjoying the QA blocks - maybe they could be a table topper?

I love your lady bug!! Maybe you should just do the QA via hand piecing....not cutting down and everything matches so well :0) Your machine piecing is MUCH better than any I could do LOL.

I just love you Zentangles! The must take forever to do. As for the HST's I share your frustration. They are challenging indeed!

I think I'm hooked on your blog. I can't beleive how much you can accomplish in a day. I think I need to reorganize my schedule...lol
Love the lady bug too!

I double checked the measurements for the QST and they could have been made with 4¼" squares, but then you have to be very accurate (not always my thing!). I find it is easier to square things up after - I have made this clearer in the instructions. Thanks!

I feel about machine quilting even worse than you feel about piecing. Piecing I can handle. Quilting...I hardly even try. Part of it is my own weakness and part of it is my machine. But, I have nine tops waiting to be quilted. I like your colors very much and am certain you will like it more and more yourself.
