I unpicked some of my Flowers so I could have something for my One Flower Wednesday

I wanted to use some of my orphan hexagons that Sandy gave me.

Andrea's little brother Patrick forgot his pyjamas and borrowed some of Andrea's.

Not a clear photo, but it made me smile.

Its been a busy few days :)

Dresden Plate Fancy Pieced - Inklingo

Just finished sewing this together over the weekend.

Could maybe do some more of these with my new Batik. 

It was certainly easy to do this 15" block with Inklingo.

Here is my One Flower Wednesday for  May 26th

Two are made from the beautiful pieces I recieved from Sandy , including the lovely fussy cut piece,  and one from mine.  I have decided to surrond them with the plain cream fabric, so may do some of the surronds next week 

My count today is now 23 Thanks to Sandy's gift also.

I think I may need to scatter some more dark ones in there?

Now - sewing my POTC's again.

Flowers for my One Flower Wednesday collection and some ready cut, already printed with Inkingo, hexagons to easily get some more flowers together.

A wonderful chicken pin-cushion .

Andrea was so delighted too...as there is some fabric for her and a fantastic book she can write in as a journal for her poems and such...she already has her first poem in it called Echoes.

Useing Inklingo and preparing for One Flower Wednesdays

This is as far as I will go with this for the moment with my Farmers Delight,  as I cant work out which fabric to use as the surrounding background.

I just needed a break...now I will get on again with my last 3 POTC Blocks...and sewing the quilt together..

The weather continues to be hot and humid.

A change from my POTC blocks.

My first Farmers Delight block - have a few more of the larger triangles to complete.

This block is from the new Inklingo Dresdon Plate collection.

Will post a photo when I have completed it. but not decided on a background, so it will stay as a circle for a bit, while I get back to my last 3 POTC's this week.

Also the first one of my Le Moyne Star blocks using one of my fabrics from the swap last year.

Hope to get some more of these done soon, between the POTC's as they don't seem to take very long. and its been good to do something different.

My contribution to the Worlds Greatest hexagon quilt.

14 of them, were posted off yesterday. 05.11.09.

I included a Freezer paper sheet with 15 printed hexagons ( of the cream fabric that goes on the border of each flower) on to show how I had printed on the fabric using Inklingo, and included the colour I printed with, and the size Freezer Paper I used...

I have been busy making 1" hexagons for the Aussie Hexagon Challenge

These are what I have done so far....with Inklingo

Another bit of comic relief :)

Found some small white china bowls last week and used one to make another pin cushion. Hopefully they will stay put on the table during use as they have a nice weight.

The base on the smaller one is from a Vegimite lid, which I have painted and glazed.

I am still working on how to do the trim different ways.. The filling for all my pin-cushions is Merino wool.

Andrea was a bit concerned what would happen to the bowl if it happened to fall off the table!!

This is a photo of my design board today...as you can see I have a lot more to sew and plenty to keep my busy.

In the top left corner some some of my .75 hexagons ( I took down a lot as I ran out of room to plan my POTC blocks) for my Almost Insane quilt, which has been put on hold because of my addiction to the POTC blocks...an the top left side are some if my Insanity haxagons. Inklingo seems to have taken me over! So much to do, and far too many UFO's.

There is a really neglected spinning wheel in the lower left hand corner.

Yesterday I completed some pin-cushions I have made wiith an Inklingo pattern from Linda Franz...I have all our neighbours collecting bottle tops for me. This has been a bit like comic relief between POTC blocks. The circles are made from the Inklingo 0.5 hexagon collection.
