Labyrinth Quilt and a giveaway

Firstly,  Wendy at Inky Threads is having a giveaway of Jennifer Chiaverini’s
newest book: The Wedding Quilt. Wonderful givaway!

And

I am a bit further along with Pin-basting.

I am using Harriet Hargraves book and pining as per her instructions for the first time...SO much easier this way.  I should have tired it before!

I am thankful I actually remembered where the  book was!

This is the most excellent book ever! I recommend this one to my students, I say if you are going to buy a book about domestic machine quilting, this is it, I haven't seen one better.
I look forward to seeing what you decide to quilt on this large beauty.

What a fantastic looking quilt - can't wait to see how you quilt it up
OK what's the secret in the basting?

I'm gonna look for this book. because I don't like layering the quilts. It's always trouble getting it right.
By the way. I do love you're quilt. It is so gorgeous.

I saw an interesting way of basting a quilt the other day. i haven't tried it but she says you can do big quilts this way. It looks interesting. Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhwNylePFAA

It looks like it would work sell for small ones for sure, but I can just see me with a couple pieces of wood 110" long trying not to knock over anytbing.

If anyone tries this, would love to hear the results!
