Designs, FMQ and playing,

Well , I have been working a bit on my sewing, though with a slow start...
No my mind is begging to go into quilt mode as I have another quit to get done.

I tried a few things out

Tried doing some painting on the black fabric - didn't work...or at least I was not really sure what to do :(

Today I do some practice squiggles

And some free hand FMQ - this I was pleased with, though the back legs  were bit wonky.

Lots more practice to do, and think I will draw what I want to quilt on instead of doing it freehand.
May make it work better.

This is Andrea...she had been modelling at the local Technical school for graduating designers..and someone there made her face up.

She probably wont like me putting this up...but I liked it.

Thats it for now.
Back to working out some quilt designs.  I have some large practice bits to do before I star..
need to experiment with thread etc.
The lizard was done with YLI 100 Silk, with Invisafil in the bobbin.

  2. Beautiful FMQ and doodling.

Congratulations to Andrea for working as a model. Her makeup looks perfect for such a model. I hope she is keeping a photo journal of her modeling.

  3. So happy to see you!

Andrea is so pretty. Great shots.

The lizard is great. And you know what? Legs are wonky in nature I'm pretty sure. Your drawing I love. It makes a person want to give drawing a go, doodling. I'm so glad to see you post. *kd.
