December Challenge is here...our last one. Last but not least.
This month we have Patsy Thompson. Patsy's challenge tuition Piece for the Month of December can be found can be found here on SewCalGal's blog.
Thank you to Sewcalgal and to Patsy for her really interesting tutorial.
Here is how I have planned it
Andrea made this very decadent Chocolate cake...
It was SOOO yummy - with real chocolate icing and in 3 layers... and of course we had it with cream too.
She has been off sick most of the week with a badly infected throat... and a really terrible cough.
The cake was delicious and we have yet to eat some more tomorrow.
Andrea got the recipe from the internet.
I'll be sewing late morning tomorrow I hope.

Oh yum that cake looks great - and Andrea looks like she's going to enjoy it!! I quite liked the way Patsy broke up the border into lots of borders - I'm looking forward to playing with that one too.
ReplyDeleteOh mai, this is realy a queens cake. It looks like the cake in the movie "Mathilda" only there were no nuts on top of the cake. I can taste it already:-)
ReplyDeleteWow, this cake looks very professional. I hope you make this again sometime when we visit :-)
ReplyDeleteThat cake really looks yummy. Drooling here......
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing your FMQ piece. Like what I'm seeing for how you've marked it. And, I'm confident it will look beautiful with your FMQ.
