Getting there.
Making lots of mistakes - but getting there slowly.

I am so pleased this is not a large quilt!

  1. Well judging by the smile on your face, you are having a good time. How wonderful that you have so much counter space to support the quilt while you sew. I look forward to seeing the end results.

I'm a new quilter and don't have much quilting post in my blog...just finished my first quilt top and finished sandwitching...and started to learn hand quilting on a patch ....hope to post my first finished quilt by the end of next month...hand quilting is slightly challeneging for me....

your blog is very inspiring with lots of quilting ideas...

  6. I had to zoom in to see what you were quilting. Did you end up free handing your feathers or use a template. I think it looks very good. I have been in kind of a slump and am feeling pretty lazy.
