Your design of feathers+keys is perfect, just add some density to the keys. Your work is lovely!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35086848.post-52988706771566814552011-01-21T07:54:19.321-08:002011-01-21T07:54:19.321-08:00I love what you have done and think more feathers ...I love what you have done and think more feathers will take away from the center. Draw more lines then take a look at it.... your on the right track.<br />Hugs!Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12341979286675859066noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35086848.post-76542334246330445062011-01-21T02:41:59.620-08:002011-01-21T02:41:59.620-08:00It's a beutiful quilt and your quilting is gor...It's a beutiful quilt and your quilting is gorgeous. I love the "piano keys" that you have drawn, but I woud have sewn double lines. The amount of quilting on the borders should balance with the inside, maybe double or triple lines will balance the density if you don't want more feathers. See if the lines will make the feathers pop, sometimes you need a bit more quilting behind them.Janethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09045225648259636672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35086848.post-34946095481438988172011-01-20T22:12:01.017-08:002011-01-20T22:12:01.017-08:00I think the piano keys are lovely, but you will be...I think the piano keys are lovely, but you will be happier with more feathers. Maybe it is a balance thing. Or maybe a meandering viney thing interspersed in the piano keys, Or maybe just see how it looks when it is done because that will add dimension. You can see I am not much help.quiltcontemplation blogspothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07073675331096590657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35086848.post-57239564136664832552011-01-20T19:33:54.520-08:002011-01-20T19:33:54.520-08:00I really love the border the way you've drawn ...I really love the border the way you've drawn it with the straight lines mixed with the feathers.
