Designs

                                                 Working on the Border

Still not quite sure which way to go - here is what I have doen so far.

In the middle is the first  one I drew ...and I was happy with that till I put it up next to the cloth...looked like too many feathers, and the curve was going the wrong way....
So I did the second one  - the far right one.  Wasnt sure about that one either..
So did the third one.  the one now next to the main design.
I thought one side of feathers only and maybe some 1/2 inch piano keys along the edge...and Dianeshiko or apple cores in the corner, but not sure about the corner bits.

So now I am just looking at them all and wondering if I should draw some more.

OR just stick to the original drawing! OR the one with lots of feathers and make the center stems a bit smaller..

Decisions decisions.

Your design is so beautiful. I like your idea of the piano keys. It's nice to have the contrast of the simple lines against the curves of the feathers.

I think it looks like so much fun drawing out some different ideas. I know how good the piano keys would look from the last time you did them. I'll be looking forward to seeing what you decide.

I like the third one (the one next to the main drawing) a lot.

All of the drawings are lovely and I know you will end up doing your usual magic. I have one suggestion, maybe the border should have a curved outside edge instead of a straight one?????

Crispy - who is making more work for you LOL.

It will be beautiful either way, I think. :)

I think any and all will be gorgeous. You're so talented with these things.

I just love watching your design emerge. May I ask: what are Dianshiko and apple cores in quilting?

All of the designs are lovely. I'm enjoying reading about your design process.

All the designs look amazing, but I'm afraid I don't have the necessary experience to express a preference. Let it percolate a little and I'm sure the right answer will come to you :)

Seems you're as busy as can be and so creative, gal.
Hope to catch up with what I've been missing on your posts.
