Machine Quilting

A finish at last!!
And I have made it in time - whoopie

All washed and dried!

The back

One corner

I dont know why - but this photo turned itself sideways ??
My ladybug is on a feather - can you find it?

I was really delighted with it, and so pleased to see both the fine pencil I had drawn with and the washable Berol pen marking all washed out successfully
I did soak if for a couple of hours...and much to my horror there was a red dye from somewhere..so I kept washing it and all was well now.  I think it was from the Christmas style fabric backing.

Now on to other things.

Joan, it's amazing. Your quilting is just beautiful. Breath taking, I tell ya!! You have to be doing the happy dance right about now!! :-) I would have freaked if I saw all that dye in the water! I'm so relieved that it came out.

Oh Joan! It is gorgeous! What a fabulous job you have done - I love all the different fills and patterns you've used. Give yourself a pat on the back and a hug from me!

just stunning Joan.I love this kind of heavy quilting and lots of ddetail, but so far I only get to do my own quilts this way as most of my customers prefer less quilting.

Oh, it looks fantastic! I love every part of it and the lines in the border turned out to be a great contrast.

Oh Joan, this is outstanding. It's beyond any words that I can offer. I think Linda's word - breathtaking - fits perfectly. I couldn't find the ladybug but I have a headache this morning so I think you'll understand.

I'm so impressed at your abilities!!!

Oh my goodness! What a scar! I think I would have been sick. Good for you to keep your cool and get the red out! It is gorgeous, of course!

Sure is all of what has been already said - beautiful, breath taking, stunning, amazing, gorgeous, fantastic, outstanding beyond words...

Does your neighbor really know what a masterpiece she´s getting as a gift? Just wondering.

Insuring it wouldn´t be a bad idea.
